5 Steps for easy assembly
Remove contents from packaging. Then place the base on the floor.

Step 1. Attaching the handle to the base.
Align the red arrow on the handle rod with the red arrow on the base rod and insert. Place your hand on top of the handle and press down until the two pieces are fully together.
Note: if the handle is not completely inserted into the base the soap lever will not be able to engage.
Step 2. Engage Soap Lever
To engage soap lever place 2 fingers in the soap lever and firmly press down until it clicks into place.
Note: To verify the lever has engaged with base open soap lid and look at the bottom of the housing. While lifting up and down on the lever you will see the cylinder nut at the bottom move up and down. If it does not move the lever is still not engaged.
Step 3. Position Aluminum Sleeve
Remove tape securing the aluminum sleeve. Slide the sleeve down over the joint. You may twist the sleeve back and forth as you are pressing it down until the sleeve is resting on the plastic base.
Very important that the safety sleeve is in this position before you use the VertaClean.
Installing Brushes and Footwash
Step 4. Brushes
The first brush to install is the Large Square Brush. This goes on the single brush side.
You will notice there are some rows of slightly shorter straight bristles in the middle of the brush. When correctly installed these rows of bristles should run from edge to edge of the brush housing.
Insert the brush and slide the rear end of the brush into place against the back of the housing. Then press down on the front edge of the brush until it snaps under the housing ledge.
The second brush to install is the Medium Rectangle Brush. This goes on the bottom of the dual brush side. With the pull tabs facing you slide the rear end of the brush in until it reaches the back of the housing. Working from the back to the front press down on the edge of the brush and then repeat the process for the other side. Then press down on one of the front corners working your way to the other corner until all brush edges are flush with the housing edge.
The last brush to install is the Small Square Brush with the slightly rounded front. With the rounded front facing you slide the brush all the way back until the rounded edge is flush with the housing.
Step 5. FootWash
To Install the footwash, open the base lid by pressing the button near the top of the base.
Remove the plastic cap off of the footwash bottle. Give the bottle a little shake. Then Guide the bottle into the footwash housing with the nozzle end down all the way until the bottle has reached the bottom. Avoid letting go of the bottle and free-falling it into place.
Close the lid until it securely snaps into place.
Now you are ready to use the VertaClean and begin experiencing the sensation of having truly clean feet.
